C.L.I.C.K. for Justice and Equality is an agent of communication alerting our social community of injustices and inequalities among the socially disadvantaged and disenfranchised individual. C.L.I.C.K. developed and created this website to assist the socially disenfranchised or disadvantaged individual in litigating their issues in Federal and State courts.

News and Reports

The following is a summary of criminal justice news and reports recently posted on the association's website. Visit www.illinoiscriminaljustice.org for more information and direct links.
  • The Georgetown Center on Policy, Inequality, and Public Policy released a report examining the increase of young girls in the juvenile justice system and proposing recommendations for gender-responsive reforms. 

  • A new report from the John Howard Association of Illinois describes its IYC-Chicago monitoring visit.

  • The Vera Institute of Justice examines recent state efforts to increase public safety by utilizing performance incentive funding. The report highlights Adult Redeploy Illinois.

  • Authors from the Center from American Progress explore the use of social impact bonds in states around the country. The Cook County Board of Commissioners recently passed a resolution creating a committee to examine the potential of social impact bonds to reduce the county's jail population.

  • The Redeploy Illinois' 2011 annual report highlights a 51% reduction in youth incarceration and savings of $40 million since its inception.
