Cavuto hosts NY Post's Crudele to advance Census hiring falsehoods
On Your World, Neil Cavuto and the New York Post's John Crudele repeatedly falsely suggested that the Census Bureau is hiring, firing, and rehiring workers to artificially boost national employment figures, despite the fact that they acknowledged not having evidence that this is true. In doing so, Cavuto and Crudele distorted both Census' hiring practices and how the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) gathers jobs figures. Read More

After criticizing Obama for lacking emotion, right-wing now attacks Obama for seeking "ass to kick" over spill
Right-wing media have rushed to attack President Obama for responding to criticism that he spends too much time consulting experts rather than "kick[ing some butt]" by saying, "I want to know whose ass to kick." Many conservative media figures previously hyped criticism that Obama lacked emotion in his response to the oil spill. Read More

Will Fox allow Bill O'Reilly to help Newsmax sell its financial products?
The right-wing website Newsmax has enlisted Fox News host Bill O'Reilly to headline its upcoming "Economic Crisis Summit." Previous Newsmax "summits" have not been "summits" at all, but rather thinly disguised infomercials in which Newsmax stoked viewers' fears of economic collapse to drive sales of its financial-services products. Is Obama "Urkel" or "Carlton Banks"? Media conservatives respond to "ass to kick" comment
Right-wing media figures have responded to President Obama's remarks about finding out "whose ass to kick" in regard to the Gulf oil spill by saying that Obama has gone "street" and gone "a little gangsta" and by comparing him to fictional characters Steve Urkel and Carlton Banks. Read More

Life in Black & White

C. Dwayne West Publisher/Editor

PUBLISHER'S PEACE

Life in Black & White

The greatest thing about creating and producing this exciting new media outlet, is my desire to bring a content driven vehicle that will communicate with Blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians and others.

I've secured some journalists from diverse backgrounds who will start presenting stories and images about this melting pot called America. The only way to solve America's small and large race relation problems, will require solutions and commitments from all people.

Of course race matters. I always get disturbed when I hear Black leaders blasting whites and others for the mistreatment and lack of equality within minority circles. Yes, there has been terrible cases of racial injustice over decades, and I will be blind if I didn't confront the facts and express them in regards to the hear and now.

This is why more middle class Blacks don't participate in marches and rallies, because the same Blacks who are expected to roll up their sleeves and beat down the man has to go to a job in down town Chicago, where 80% of co workers and managers are probably the man.

Racism will only be taken seriously and defeated when Blacks can get whites to buy into the fight, and for whites to acknowledge there's a problem, and collectively work to beat down the walls of discrimination and bigotry. Then and only then will this disease be cured.

What if you own a mid size to large business, and that business requires partnerships and relationships with suppliers, vendors and authorized dealers, who for all respective purposes are be white.

I don't want Black, white or leaders of other nationalities to mislead the masses to think all whites and all Blacks are bad people. When you encounter misdeeds and disrespectful treatment, regardless of race; that's the person you should direct your frustration to only.

TBTNewsService brand will unite its readers under one banner, and that's the banner that made hip hop culture such a global phenomenon. As I watched VH1 Hip Hop Honors last evening, I saw a melting pot of America together celebrating the lives of souhern culture, and that's the world I want my smart, talented and progreesive daughter to know. Peace and one love.

Legend

John Wooden not only coached basketball, but he taught his young men character and substance. Coach Wooden, as he was called by anyone who knew him and crossed his path, can tell stories of his wisdom, knowledge and his devotion for life, his family, his friends and his hundreds of players who was fortunate enough to have him as their teacher, mentor and life coach.

Coach Wooden succumbed to his many illnesses, but not after living a long healthy and productive life and leaving behind a legacy that will never, ever be duplicated. He won 10 NCAA College Basketball Championships, with seven in a roll during a stretch in the mid 60's into the early 70's with UCLA. The Bruins once won 88 consecutive games.

If you ever have a chance to study his philosophy about life and building sustainable lessons to be passed on to your children or your community, it's highly recommended.

Politics as Usual

Left vs. Right

Correspondent: "The TRUTH"

The political landscape in America is so screwed up; I can see why this country is under fire by individuals who want to harm us during our time of confusion. I can see why other countries snub their noses at us, and I can see how dramatic tragedies can occur like Hurricane Katrina, the BP oil spill, the housing market collapse, Wall Street and the banking melt down and other man made disasters, while our leaders are asleep at the wheel.

The left wing (Democrats) and the right wing (Republicans) have engaged in a head to head combat battling for White House supremacy. They truly want to see the other side loose the fight for the minds and hearts of the American people. And what's even worst is tens of millions of Americans have chosen sides while shouting and feeling as though they are in the fight of their lives.

The amazing part is these people on the left and right talk about patriotism while attempting to win undecided Americans by using the trump card of who got more pride. But in the end of the day, each side is traders and has failed their country. They've tried every dirty trick to convince hard working people that we need to choose sides, and one side is wrong and the other is right, all while people struggle to keep food on their tables and a roof over their heads.

How can we combat terrorism, unemployment, drug trafficking and crimes against communities when both sides of the aisle, who call themselves our leaders are busy battling the red, white and blue and dividing the America people?
